Master Magician Mani Ratnam's next movie 'Kadal' will very soon go on to sets.Currently, the Pre Production works are going on. The movie was earlier titled 'Pookadie'. Yesteryear actor Karthik's son Gautham will be making his debut with this movie.Samantha will be playing the female lead. Lakshmi Manchu will foray in to Tamil cinema with this movie. Yesteryear Handsome Hunk Arvind Swamy will be making his come back in to movies with this.
