Popular comedian Vennela Kishore is making his directorial debut with 'Vennela 1½'.'Adi Nuvve' fame Chaitanya Krishna and Monal Gajjar are playing the female leads. The movie has completed its shooting and currently post production work is going on at brisk pace. The audio release and theatrical release of the movie will take place in February.
The movie is touted to be a full length comedy entertainer and is said to be a sequel to Deva Katta's 'Vennela' movie. Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Sravan, Giridhar, Tagubotu Ramesh forms the other cast
Suresh Bhargav is the cinematographer and Sunil Kashyap is the music director while Krishna Chaitanya and Sirasri penned the lyrics. Vasu and Verma are producing the film under GR8 Films banner.
