World's famous director James Cameron of Titanic and Avatar 3D fame was recently in Abu Dhabi for the 2011 Abu Dhabi Media Summit.
During the same time, director Priyadarshan was shooting in Dubai deserts for his Malayalam film Arabiyum, Ottakavum, P. Madhavan Nairum. The film has Mohanlal, Mukesh, Vidya Balan and Lakshmi Rai in the lead roles. By knowing that director James Cameron is in Dubai, Priyan managed to get his appoint for dinner. But to the teams surprise Cameron himself payed his visit to the sets to monitor Priyan’s working style.
“After watching the shoot James Cameron has expressed his desire to work with Lakshmi Rai, as he was very much impressed with her acting style” say the sources in the know-how.
By confirming this Lakshmi Rai says “Very soon I will be leaving to California to work with him. James Cameron has gone through my film career and my acting skills on web and he also gave a huge compliment that my I had a good body of work” What more do I need and really felt blessed with his compliments.
