What with the ongoing strike, shoot schedules of many upcoming movies are being held outside Tamil Nadu.
Vikram and Anushka have paired up for Thandavam produced by UTV Motion Pictures and directed by A.L.Vijay, who have earlier produced Anushka and Vikram starring Deiva Thirumagal.
Thandavam's shooting is being held in and around Delhi with a few flashback scenes and songs being shot. The song Oru Paadhi Kanavu Neeyadi was shot recently with Vikram and Anushka in the lead.
Amy Jackson is the other female lead in this bilingual film that is being simultaneously taken in Telugu as well. G.V.Prakash is scoring the music for Thandavam.
Vijay speaking about Thandavam told, “On the shooting sets of Deiva Thirumagal, we had a talk about Thandavam and once it was screened immediately started up.†He further concluded saying, “The film revolves around a young man revolting against people, who cheated him and the society.â€
After the shoots in Delhi are over, the crew will fly to US where significant portions are being planned to be shot.
