Priyanka Upendra made her debut in the year 1998, through the Bengali movie “Hathat Brishtiâ€. From then, she has acted in many films in various languages like Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Later, she married the Kannada Super Star Upendra.
In Tamil, she has acted with Ajith in the movie ‘Raja’, ‘Kadhal Sadugudu’ and ‘Jananam’. Now, Priyanka Upendra is all set to become a Director. Her directorial debut project is a bilingual, which is to be made in Bengali and Kannada. Priyanka wants to cast her Husband Upendra in the lead role.
Regarding this, Priyanka has said that, “Scripting and directing have always been on my mind. I had written a couple of stories over the past few months, and have zeroed in on one of them, which I am keen to make in Kannada and Bengali. I am preparing the final draft now and looking at starting pre-production work next month,â€.
