Vijay starrer Thuppaki went to floors last month. Directed by A R Murugadoss, the movie has Kajal Agarwal opposite Vijay.
With FEFSI and Producers Council row over wage revision on, the shooting has come to halt.
Thupakki will resume as soon as the issue is sorted out, sources say. The director has now roped in Sathyan to play pivotal role in the movie.
Says Murugadoss, ‘I am happy and thrilled to direct a mass hero like Vijay. He is cool a co-operative’.
It is being produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu that has cinematography by Santosh Sivan, dialogues being penned by Jayamohan, editing by A.Sreekar Prasad and music is composed by Harris Jayaraj.
The actor has signed his 55th film with Gautham Vasudev Menon and 56th film AL Vijay respectively.
AL Vijay started working deeply to give an apt title which will suit Vijay's mass image. Sources say that Vijay's 56th film has got a massive title which be revealed soon.
