Deepika Padukone, who is to pair Rajinikanth in his delayed project Rana, has confirmed her presence in Kochadaiyaan pairing opposite Superstar.
The hot Bollywood babe was all ready to work opposite superstar, Rajnikanth in a period flick, Rana. The latter was playing a triple role and the venture was even launched amid much fanfare in Chennai last April at the A.V.M. Studios.
In fact, even the shooting had commenced at a palatial 17th century palace set where Rajnikanth and Deepika shot a song.
The debutant director Soundarya Ashwin has confirmed that Deepika has signed Kochadaiyaan, to play Thalaivar’s love interest. Kochadaiyaan also have veteran actress Shobana, Sarath Kumar, Nassar, Sneha and Aadhi in other key roles.
Soundarya announced that her dad and Enthiran star’s next film, Kochadaiyaan, was ready for the sets and that she was excited about directing her father.
Apparently, she also officially stated that the film would be produced under her banner, Ocher Picture Productions and Eros International.
The firstlook poster released on 5th, which attracted Rajini fans and they appear to be very happy with the pic.
This is the first 3D Indian film to be shot in performance capturing motion technology.
