Hansika Motwani has been roped in as the heroine in Singam 2.Hansika will be one of the heroines in a sequel to ‘Singam’. Singam 2 will be directed by Hari again.
Singham 2 is the sequel of Singham, which was a blockbuster with Suriya and Anushka in the leads. This sequel has Hansika pairing opposite Suriya, while Anushka will be playing an important role. Bubbly actress gave nod saying, “I liked my role after listening to the script and so signed the film.â€
"Apart from Anushka, the script demanded another leading lady and Hari zeroed in on Hansika for the task. The young actress is happy to share the screen space with Surya and she has a meaty role to play," say sources close to the development.
The actress concluded saying, “I feel blessed to act with top stars and feel like dream come true to pair Suriya.†This film is likely to go floors after Maatran is wrapped up.
