The National award winning director Vetri Maran is debuting to produce a yet-to-titled film.
Director Vettrimaran will not just produce a movie, he has rather chosen to pen the script and dialogue himself for the film. But it would be directed by associate Durai Senthil Kumar.
The story is likely a romantic comedy. Siddharth is likely to play the lead and other casts and crew are being decided now. They’re looking for a new face to play the heroine, he added.

Durai Senthil Kumar has worked with director Balu Mahendra and Vetrimaran before.
Vetrimaran’s next directorial venture is ‘Vada Chennai’ with Simbhu in the lead. The film depicts the life of North Chennai with a story that is set in the period of 80s and 90s. The film also features Rana Daggubatti and Andrea Jeremiah in prominent roles.
