Anushka Shetty, one of the higly paid actress, is pairing Pawan Kalyan in the upcoming untitled movie, which is said to be the remake of Bollywood movie Love Aaj Kal. She will play the role of Meera which was played by Deepika Padukone in the original version.

Earlier it was reported that Deepika Padukone will be playing the lead role in Telugu version aswell. It was also said that movie bosses are also trying to bring her into Telugu version of Love Aaj Kal. Now the news is that Anushka has agreed to play the lead role and soon she will be joining the team.

Pawan Kalyan is playing the lead role, which was played by Saif Ali Khan in the film. Jayant C Paranji is directing the film. Popular comedian Ganesh is producing the film, Trivikram Srinivas is penning dialogues, Binod Pradhan of Devdas(Hindi) fame is handling the camera and other cast and crew are under wraps.

The movie is a romantic comedy about a modern-day couple. The movie draws parallels between two love stories - one set in the 60s and the other in the new millennium.
