The 21-year-old daughter of superstar Shruti Hasan, the beautiful and multi-talented daughter of two powerhouse performers Kamal Haasan and actor Sarika is obviously proud, even grateful, for her genes.

The multi-talented Shruti who is a singer, song-writer and plans to act too. Shruti Hassan has been performing with her band at various venues recently

Shruti Hassan, daughter of actors Kamal Hassan and Sarika, will make her debut opposite Imraan Khan, actor-producer Aamir Khan's nephew in Ashtavinayak Production's 'Luck', a multi starrer film to be directed by Soham Shah.

While she is just one film old in Bollywood, he is yet to make an impression with his debut film. However, both the south stars - Shruthi Haasan and Suriya - are going to share screen for a Hindi venture which will be helmed by A. R. Murugadoss, of ‘Ghajini’ fame.

Shruthi’s Hindi debut film ‘Luck’ sank at the box office and this time it seems her doting father Kamal is taking the responsibility of getting things right for her in B-town.

Walt Disney India recently decided to venture into south Indian films. Their first project in south India will be a Telugu film. The Telugu flick which is yet to be titled has Shruti Hassan and Siddharth in the lead roles.
